More Than a Feeling
A new series inspired by 70s road-trip radio and the slow, golden rhythm of summer in Southwestern Ontario.
From back-road horizons to the wide, open breath of Lake Huron, each painting drifts through warmth, motion, and memory. Think long drives, sand-soft evenings, weathered barns, and light that feels like a soundtrack.
Here are the songs woven through this series — all carrying that unmistakable 70s energy:
Take It Easy – Eagles
Running on Empty – Jackson Browne
Dream On – Aerosmith
Riders on the Storm – The Doors
Landslide – Fleetwood Mac
Into the Mystic – Van Morrison
Come Sail Away – Styx
And yes — “Here Comes the Sun” (’69) and “Against the Wind” (’80) sneak in at the edges, because the mood deserved them.
A summer journey in colour, memory, and motion.
Hope it brings you a bit of that endless-sky feeling.
